So, Is the World Market Auction a Scam?

After my husband wrote that email to the World Market Auction, he never received a response. It seems that they don't care to share their eBay ID--perhaps, as one commenter said, because it isn't an active one like they claim. So I am inclined to believe that it is a scam and I'm glad we didn't send in the application right away like we had initially planned on doing. According to some comments I have received on this blog, after sending in the application they ask you for your bank account so they can deposit money which you are to forward. This is a big no-no if you don't know the person. So I would recommend you avoid this company!

Those of you who come upon this blog, please feel free to leave comments. They will help the people who come after you to make a more informed decision.

I know there are a lot of people who are looking for work-at-home opportunities. The World Market Auction purports to be a work-at-home job, but in the end it looks more like a scam than anything else. However, I can recommend a few opportunities that I know are legitimate.

If you have the time to shop, you might consider mystery shopping. I did this for several months and it does pay. Here is the directory of Mystery Shopping companies that I used. Beware of imitations. Typing "mystery shopping" into Google will get you a bunch of scams that will only end up filling your inbox with spam. This directory is valid and I highly recommend it.

If you would like to try online marketing, there are a couple options that I can recommend. First, you could try the 30 Day Challenge. This is a totally free program that helps you earn your first $10 or so in 30 days. I went through about 21 days of the challenge, gave up because of illness, but 3 days after the challenge ended, I earned $11 off the effort--so in effect I sort of won the challenge. Also, I applied what I learned to some other sites I already had and have made nearly $200 in the last two weeks. It teaches you how to legitimately and honestly earn money online. It's not easy--you'll have to put in a few hours a day once the challenge starts--but it is free. The challenge officially starts in August, but in June and July they have pre-season and from September through May you can still work on the previous challenge.

Another online marketing program that I recommend is called Reality-Networkers. They are a more traditional online marketing system. I have been working with them for a couple of months and am close to moving up to the next level. This method is fairly easy and you'll have a lot of help from your upline (which would be me if you sign up using this link). It's NOT a get rich quick scheme, but my level 5 upline is pulling in about $3,000 a month now. The nice thing about this program is that you can work it as much or as little as you want, and as long as you don't quit, you will get somewhere.

So if you were researching World Market Auction because you are interested in making money from home, these are some viable options. Feel free to check out any or all of them, and I wish you success in your money-making endeavors.

Please Read the Comments

Jessie from World Market Auction still has not replied to the email mentioned in the previous post. However, I have received two comments on the first post, and I am being led more and more to the conclusion that this company is a scam. Still hoping to hear back from them, but if it's a scam, we won't, and that will be the end of it.
